I have just had a new publication released – a topic guide on “Open Data, Transparency and Accountability” published by DFID and the University of Birmingham’s GSDRC.

I really enjoyed the process of writing this, and had great help and inputs from experts I really respect like Jeni Tennison and Rosie McGee.

It was a great excuse to geek out on the latest literature on transparency, especially some of the criticisms of the concept and the work being done in the field.

But mostly, it was fab to finally get to sit down and distill what I’ve learnt designing & delivering programmes in the field.
